I think one of my worst embarrassing moments I had with Acne was on one incident that happened sometime about 2 years ago. I actually set up an appointment with a Japanese client and we were supposed to meet up for a meeting together with my boss to discuss about a project. And because it is so important, I have to be present to assist my boss and help out on the presentation.
A day before the scheduled appointment, suddenly I notice an Acne spot just pops up out of nowhere and the worst thing is that it is located at the area in between your nose and upper lips. I was terrified and even contemplating on getting a sick leave but it’s just not possible due to the importance of the project. I can’t postpone the meeting as well because the client will actually leave for Japan the next day. Therefore I have to choice but to attend it. I tried everything I could to hide the Acne spot by applying makeup but it is still visible. On that particular day, I pretend that nothing happened and pray that the client doesn’t take notice of it. I was so nervous and felt odd throughout the session. Well I guess even if the client sees it, he wouldn’t be so rude to make some unpleasant remarks. Anyway, there’s actually nothing I could do and if you were to ask me, I would tell you that, it was the most embarrassing moments I had with Acne. |

Oh..feel sad for you, but why do you worry this much for natural causes. The client also could have been effected with this and you could have used a moustache to hide it...lol. Listen i agree that the situation was tough but such things are beyond human control. We can just help controlling it and cannot just stop such things to happen and your intention was nowhere in doing so. So you need to get relaxed and stop feeling bad about it

I could really see that as being stressful. All you can really do in cases where you don't have much time is to put a thin layer of some sort of topical treatment on it and then put a little bit of concealer on it. Those surprise attacks are the worst!

Well, I honestly wouldn't see your client making a big deal out of it or even saying anything about it. I mean, you're both professional, right? I hate how people have to be beautiful to be considered professional. I mean, just because you have one acne spot, you shouldn't have to worry about what people think about you. It's your work performance that should matter the most.

I hated it when the dermatologist curtly told me "It won't work if it's not on
your face" OMG |

It sure is the most embarrassing moment in your part. My acne appears at the peak of my nose. It's kinda red so it looks like I'm the reindeer for the day. That was from Christmas and new year. Totally embarrassing since I am the emcee of our program.

Got to love stress. Acne always seems to appear exactly when you don't want it the most, like around important events and occasions. If only we could manage not to stress about these situations then we probably wouldn't get the acne.
