Default How to get rid of bacne

I have bacne pretty bad. Can someone please tell me how to get rid of my bacne? At this point, I've tried about everything and am getting desperate. Acne is so frustrating!

I had terrible acne too, and my dermatologist also prescribed topical meds-however, mine work wonderfully. How long have you been using the tertacycline and benzoyl peroxide? It took me about 2 months for them to really make a difference.

If you've been using them awhile with less-then-desirous effects, then go back to the dermatologist and explain what's up. Acne medications often need to be altered before you get the right combination that works for your skin.

I'm no doctor but several things may help: Make sure your sheets are washed every week, especially if you sweat. It's no good to wallow in dead skin etc and grind crap into your back at night. Also, if you can get a medication that has small rough particles in it, this will help clear away dead skin so your pores don't get clogged with it. Are you a picker? Most will tell you to "stop fucking picking" but if you are like I used to be and you see that nasty pus-filled zit staring at you in the mirror you're going to want to pop that mother. In this case, take a hot shower first and GENTLY squeeze as much skin between your fingers as you can behind the zit-no nails digging in or you'll force it full of blood and SURPRISE, tomorrow it's back and worse then ever. Oddly enough there's apparently videos on youtube documenting how to do this.

Good luck! If I think of anything else I'll make sure to post. Acne sucks majorly, dude, I feel your pain.

Male or female?

Men's worst case scenario can generally be taken care of with some form of antibiotic and topical cream.

However, my girlfriend just went to the dermatologist and her's is horomone related. She is now taking accutane and for the most part, loving it.

For women you have to register online to promise not to get pregnant and all that junk, but for men it seems pretty straight forward.

My bacne was so bad at one point (face) that I decided to try very expensive laser acne treatment. No topical creams or washes or pills ever worked for me and my self esteem was low, even though I looked great everywhere else. I think I was about 16 at the time, and laser treatments owned that bacne. I was able to tell a difference within a week and I think I went twice a week for 3 months. After the 3 months ended, either due to getting out of puberty or to the treatment, my face has been clear ever since. I was too wary to try accutane, and my doctor was even hesitant in prescribing it.
